Daisy Chain Event, Albert Road, Southsea 29th May 2011
Fun had by all at the event. Pics and some video: Apologies for the sound but it illustrated how windy it was!
Introductions to the crowd! Or has Janet just lost her choir? (They're behind you!)

Oh, yes, there they are. Ready to sing?

General laughter and confusion... and fun!

Raise The Roof for Trinity Tower!
Concert in aid of the church building fund, October 2010.
Both the afternoon and evening groups performed at the concert, and after vast amounts of cake in the interval (where everyone in the 200+ strong audience was served!), we were delighted with the Pompey Pluckers, Portmsouth Ukulele band leading us in a sing-a-long! The concert raised over £800 for the church buliding fund. Thank you to all who made it a wonderful Sunday afternoon! We plan to do a Christmas concert on Sunday 4th December 2011 in aid of the the church building and also a local charity. Below is one of the videos of the concert. If you search YouTube for 'Raise the roof trinity tower Portsmouth' you'll find lots more!

Sing The Nation! Sing Up Portsmouth! 2008
To celebrate the hand over of the Olympics from China to the UK in the summer of 2008, various events took place as part of the Cultural Olympiad around the country. Janet led 'Sing Up Portsmouth a 'scratch' choir who met for 3 weeks to practice 3 songs and sang in the Guildhall Square, encouraging all watching to join in and sing!
